Marco Carvalho’s play “Coisas que Porto Alegre Fala” was an adaptation of the web series of the same name. The play broke the state record for the largest audience in a single night, with 3,000 people in attendance, and surpassed 13,000 people over a nine-night run. The final performance was recorded and is available on Netflix in Brazil. The play was so popular that GLOBO TV made it into a sitcom in Brazil. Marco wrote and directed all episodes.
